I spent the weekend working on a novel outline.
It’s not quite finished. Right now it’s at 2,500 words. I think it’s going to finish up about a thousand words from now.
I’ve just blown up something very big.
There are other things to blow up, too. Not quite as big.
The story is about to head off into some really wonky territory. Wonky is what I do. 😉
It’s slow writing. Even though I have a rough outline I sketched out on a notepad, I’m still having to work through the plot, at least here in the middle. The ending is generally locked down in better detail, so that writing — the last five hundred words, roughly — should go much faster.
