On Nathan Fillion’s New Series

I watched the premiere of Castle on ABC last night.

It’s a series starring Firefly‘s Nathan Fillion as a best-selling mystery novelist. When some bodies turn up in New York City, killed using the methods he wrote about in some of his earlier novels, the NYPD turns to him as a consultant.

It was goofy. And amusing. I laughed, a fair bit.

I got a Remington Steele vibe off of it.

It’s not the best thing in the world, but for that hour I was pretty well amused. Fillion has a light, comedic touch that served him well.

I’ll watch, so long as I remember it’s on. 🙂
