Winter Solstice

It’s a cold one today! The winter solstice. “Halfway out of the dark.”

It snowed furiously all day yesterday, and this morning everything was icy and frozen.

Snow covering everything in my apartment complex

I like seeing the snow on the hills over Red Lion and Windsor way, shining white in the sun.

I really should have gone Thursday night to see the Christmas trees at Lancaster’s ballpark. Last night was out–the aforementioned snow–and tonight and tomorrow are going to be bleak. Not to mention, Mt. Pisgah Road might be a little icy.

In other news, there’s a trailer for next summer’s Superman film.

Looks enjoyable! The electric guitar work in the John Williams’ theme reminds me of Carter Gravatt’s guitar work on Carbon Leaf’s “The War Was in Color.”
