Getting Better

I’m getting better at this backgammon thing.

Screenshot of a backgammon board. I have removed all but two pieces, while white has removed none, and isn't close to removing any.

I still lose half the time, but I’m getting the hang of it.

I do think xgammon cheats, because it comes up with just the right role to do damage far too often to be chance, but broadly speaking, I’m holding my own.

I cannot access Facebook on my phone. For a day now, since last evening, all I get is this.

Something has gone wrong. Really helpful

No idea if it’s a Facebook problem or a Vivaldi problem. I’ve cleared Facebook cookies and can log in, but anything more produces this.

I use my mobile browser. I don’t have the apps for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on my phone. And, at some point, I can see the tech companies freezing people out for not using their apps.

Hell, my apartment complex wants me to use an app to pay for the laundry facility. No, I will not use an app to pay for laundry! What sort of dystopia do we live in when you need a damn app to have clean clothes?

Madness!
