This game of Othello ended with white making four, might’ve been five, straight turns, as I, black, had no legal moves at all.

I had white on the run for most of the game, and white was often kept to 3 or 4 pieces total. The game developed to the right hand side of the board, and I took first the lower right corner and then the upper right corner.
I don’t recall exactly how it happened, but I got the lower left corner, white had three or four pieces, I could make one move to place a piece on the left hand column, and then white made move after move as I had no legal moves whatsoever.
It was a strange ending. All I could do was watch it unfold and see where it landed. I thought of it as “the car crash ending.” It was out of my hands. 🙂
