Pop Culture, Snoopy Style

I was out of town the last several days. One cute thing I saw on Twitter was this — Snoopy and the Beatles.

It’s not perfect — the audio doesn’t sync well to the video — and the Schulz-ified Beatles don’t really look like the Beatles, but it’s so charming I can’t resist.

I also thought this Snoopy-as-Harry-Potter video was cute.

The trailer for the HBO Max Harry Potter series dropped today. I have no interest in it — I didn’t even finish the movie series, nor did I watch any of the Fantastic Beasts films — but it’s a thing, so I watched the trailer, and it left me feeling a bit unsettled. I’m not saying the movies I saw (the first four) were perfect, but I don’t see why this is needed, nor who it is for.

I’m going to sit down this evening and read up on Scotland. Research (for writing), you know.
