On Sprite Bottles

Mad scientist mode. I wanted to scream aloud, “It’s alive! It’s alive!” as did Colin Clive in the original Frankenstein. Why?

My grandmother loves to drink Sprite in the 20 ounce bottles. She doesn’t drink the whole bottle, though, pouring some into a glass tumbler, and then putting the remainder in the bottle in the refrigerator. I opened the refrigerator tonight, saw four Sprite bottles in various states of emptiness, and decided to do something about them.

Consolidation! I poured the bottles into one another, retightened the cap, and put the filled Sprite bottle back in the refrigerator.

Of course, in a day or two I’ll need to do the same, and the Mad Scientist impulse will surely overcome me once more.

“It’s alive! It’s alive!”
