On Frogs

A frog was in the toilet.

I awoke this morning, crossed the hall to the backroom, flipped up the lid, and began to empty the bladder. I looked down into the toilet bowl, and what was that thing in there?

Why, it appeared to be a frog!

He was affixed to the side of the toilet bowl, and then as I relieved myself the frog slid down into the water. Once I’d finished I grabbed a washcloth from the linen closet and fished out the frog, then put him out on the porch.

How did the frog get into the toilet bowl? I hope I’ll never know.
