Dublin Time

On New Year’s Day, I mentioned that I plan upon read James Joyce’s Ulysses this year. I started last night.

I have tried reading Ulysses before. This may be my fourth attempt. I tried reading it in 2011, and ran aground somewhere. In 2012, I went to a Bloomsday reading in Baltimore.

I don’t believe I’ve tried it since then.

But, I have started! Again! I have podcasts! I have two radio adaptations!

I’ve changed my desktop wallpaper to something appropriate for Dublin!

The terminal ebook reader is EPR. The Ulysses ebook is the version from Standard Ebooks.

I have a print edition, too, though the Dover edition I mentioned in 2011 I seem to have lost.

I will do this. 🙂
