On Monsoons

The spring monsoon moved over Raleigh several days ago. I wish it would go away. The rains aren’t constant. But they’re heavy, they’re hard, and they’re fast. Then they clear off, until the next rains–heavy, hard, fast. If it rains any more, we’ll see rising waters on the River Ganges.
