An Invitation from Across the Years

According to a Facebook post, Philip Barbour High School is having a 35th-anniversary reunion for the Class of 1990. As part of Lurch Fest, a festival in Philippi, West Virginia in honor of The Addams Family‘s Ted Cassidy.

While I am most likely the only graduate of Philip Barbour to have ever visited the grave of the school’s namesake — former Speaker and the House and Justice of the Supreme Court Philip Pendleton Barbour — I will not be attending the Philip Barbour Class of ’90 Reunion.

But maybe I’ll watch Grosse Pointe Blank that night.
