On My “Blog Type”

It’s a personality test! For blogs!

Typealzyer takes a look at a blog, and it makes a personality determination.

For me?

INTP – The Thinkers

The logical and analytical type. They are especialy attuned to difficult creative and intellectual challenges and always look for something more complex to dig into. They are great at finding subtle connections between things and imagine far-reaching implications.

They enjoy working with complex things using a lot of concepts and imaginative models of reality. Since they are not very good at seeing and understanding the needs of other people, they might come across as arrogant, impatient and insensitive to people that need some time to understand what they are talking about.

Fun!

  1. That’s… that’s actually kind of cool…!

Also, how are you? My life is a whirling torrent of chaos at the moment… so I haven’t had time for e-mails YAAAAAY!

  2. I was a bit surprised, actually. Generally on the Meyers-Briggs tests, I score as an INFP (also called “The Dreamer”) like here or here, which is nearly the same thing, except it’s more emotional and intuitive than rational and logical.

As for how I’m doing, I’d say okay. I’m actually a bit sleepy. I have to bust out a lot of writing at work tomorrow. I’ve had Monty Python on the brain. And some other things, too, which I may or may not write about, depending. 🙂

Also, I just picked up a copy of Iain Banks’ Consider Phlebas.

In other words, I seem to be, erm, normal. At least, what passes for normal where I’m concerned. 😎

And don’t let the whirling torrent of chaos drag you down into the black abyss. Because that would really suck.
