Conker: Live and Reloaded, the XBox remake of the Nintendo 64’s Conker’s Bad Fur day has gone gold. A release at the end of the month for this highly anticipated title is now assured.
What is Conker? Well, it’s a video game about a fluffy, cute squirrel. A very naughty cute squirrel. He drinks. He swears. He urinates. He fights mountains of poo. He enjoys the ladies. Conker’s Bad Fur Day was a brilliant send-up of the genre pioneered by Super Mario, and to see something so foul on a kiddie friendly system like the Nintendo 64 gave people pause.
The box for Bad Fur Day carried a cautionary label, beyond the ESRB Mature rating.
So, now the remake is coming out soon for the XBox. I’m a little giddy just thinking about it. 🙂
