On the Oncoming Storm

The sky clouded over. What had been a clear blue sky turned grey and threatening.

The wind picked up. Trees limbs lashed against the house. The wind howled.

An ear-splitting roar filled the air; a crash of thunder came down from the skies.

I huddled against the portents of the oncoming storm.

The clouds moved off.

Summer storms are so much fun.
