On the Lantern Corps

So, DC Comics has this event going, Blackest Night. It’s a Green Lantern crossover, involving all sorts of different Lantern Corps — Green Lanterns and Yellow Lanterns and Red Lanterns and Blue Lanterns. And zombie Black Lanterns.

I don’t know what’s going on. I haven’t bought the first issue, but it’s out on the stands now.

However, I thought it would be interesting to see which Lantern Corps I would belong to.

Unfortunately, the quiz — Which Corps Best Suits You? — doesn’t make it easy to share results. Digging out the HTML source…

Hope burns bright!

All will be well! You are an exemplar of peace and understanding. Although the blue ring’s flame is brightest, only those that are willing to bear the greatest burden can spread its light of hope to the darkest stars.

So… I’m a Blue Lantern, then. My power is Hope. 🙂

According to Wikipedia, members of the Blue Lantern Corps include Saint Walker, Brother Warth, Brother Hymn, and Sister Sersy. Now, since I’ve not read Green Lantern in over a decade, I have absolutely no idea who these people, aliens rather, are.

They also have a cool ring charging poem.

Blue Lantern!
