On Blue Beetle, the Television Series

Blue Beetle.

Yesterday, Geoff Johns posted some images of a live-action screen test of Blue Beetle for a possible television series.

Personally, I would like to see a Blue Beetle movie. A super-hero buddy comedy — Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. There’s no reason that superhero movies need to be so serious.

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again — Jason Bateman as Blue Beetle/Ted Kord, Will Arnett as Booster Gold. If you know the characters, if you watched Arrested Development, tell me you can’t see that. It works. And there’s no reason that super-heroes can’t be in the mid-thirties. 🙂

I’d watch this.
