On Clothes For Palin

Science fiction author Robin Wayne Bailey has an interesting idea:

In Ormond Beach, Florida today, John McCain was asked several times about the $150,000 spent on Sarah Palin’s wardrobe.  Each time, McCain answered with basically the same remarks, to wit, that Sarah Palin needed the clothes.

I want to start a national movement, and I need your help.  Please find something in your wardrobe, some dress, some blouse, some shoes, perhaps, that you no longer need and send that item to your local republican campaign headquarters.  The Governor of Alaska and the republican vice-presidential candidate apparently cannot afford her own outfits.  In the spirit of charity, we should all help out.  Think of those poor little children of hers.

Have a heart.  Send Sarah Palin some clothes.

Or even better, since the Republican National Committee spent the one-hundred and fifty thousand dollars on Governor Palin’s wardrobe, make a donation there:

Republican National Committee.

Washington, DC 20003

I’m sure I have some old t-shirt I haven’t worn in a while I could send.

Spread the word!  Clothes for Palin!
