On Internet Explorer

May I just say, I really hate Internet Explorer? As in, I really hate it?

I’ve been playing around with style sheets. Some of you may have noticed. The website will look radically different at any given moment depending on what I’m fiddling with.

It didn’t even occur to me to take a look at what I was doing in IE, to see how it rendered the style sheets. Invariably, IE’s rendering leaves a lot to be desired. It’s enough to drive a man to drink.

Ah, sod it. I’ve got a layout that looks fine in IE, looks fine in Netscape and its ilk, looks fine in Opera. I’m done with the style sheet excursion. We’ll leave things as they are. Until I decide otherwise, that is.

I hate you, IE. I really hate you.

  1. Microsoft have a lot to answer for! I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve gotten a style sheet looking just perfect in FireFox, only to find IE renders it like drunken man with a crayon…

  2. This looks fine in FF. And I stopped giving a toss about IE a while ago. So ugly and clumsy as a browser.

    /pats Firefox some more/
