We’ve all heard of Guitar Hero. At least, if we’re into video games, we’ve heard of Guitar Hero. It’s a game, comes with a guitar-shaped controller, and depending on how well you work your axe determines your score.
I don’t recommend anyone pull a Pete Townsend with a Guitar Hero controller. I’m just saying.
Well, I was looking forward to Sousaphone Hero, Activision’s follow-up to Guitar Hero. Who wouldn’t want to play with a large plastic tuba controller?
Apparently, not many people — Activision is reporting sluggish sales on the game.
High price point. A niche market.
Damn. And I was looking forward to picking it up cheap and/or used.
Sousaphone Hero.

I’m holding out for “Triangle Hero”, myself, but I guess development of that is in jeopardy too. 🙁
Yep, saw that. Sooo funny. I need to get around to reading the Onion more often; I found that article on another blog as well.
