On a Grand Designs Review

The UK website Sci-Fi Online reviewed the newest Star Trek: Corps of Engineers compilation Grand Designs, of which my own Ring Around the Sky is a part. From their review:

It’s obvious from his detailed descriptions that Gibson gets a real kick out of technology as he indulges himself and the reader in descriptions of the station that rings a whole planet. Two plot threads are nicely woven together.

It’s a lovely review of the book as a whole, which has stories by Kevin Killiany, Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore, Dave Mack, Dave Galanter, and Paul Kupperberg.

And, any time a review uses the phrase “a bit pants” as a complement, that’s a plus! 🙂

Thanks to Jackie Bundy, Kevin Killiany, and Dayton Ward for all for bringing this review to my attention. 🙂
