On my authorial tendencies
As seen on several blogs in the past day, most recently Bill Leisner’s, which science fiction author am I? I am: Philip K. Dick The brilliant yet trashy master of the reality warp always left you unsure of what was real, but never forgot compassion. Which science fiction writer are you? That didn’t surprise me,Continue reading “On my authorial tendencies”
On Interviews
In the past week two college students have e-mailed me and asked if I would be willing to answer e-mail interviews for their course work. Color me surprised and flattered. The first interview was on writing. The second interview was on my job. Interesting stuff. Hope the assignments went well, kids!
On a Plot Outline

On Handwriting
I can’t write in cursive. In elementary school cursive was taught in third grade. I skipped over third grade, went straight from second to fourth. In fourth grade, I had to play “catch-up” on cursive. I won’t say that I had great cursive handwriting, but it was good enough, and through junior high school andContinue reading “On Handwriting”
On Thumping the Head against the Wall
The difference a night of sleep makes. I wanted last night to thump my head against the wall. Either that or break out the red pen and bleed it on a document. I was given a document to review, a training guide to a new program at work. The sales tracking chart the guide explainsContinue reading “On Thumping the Head against the Wall”
